A vineyard producing stunning sparkling Rosé, a Bollinger Champagne bar, an outdoor vitality pool, and a Summer soundtrack to die for…this may sound like an enviable day abroad however you would be surprisingly mistaken. It is in fact, The Spa at Carden Park located just south of Chester, nestled in the rolling Cheshire countryside close to the Welsh border. This brand new, state of the art spa resort has been developed with complete luxury and relaxation in mind. It offers visitors a complete spa day or spa stay experience with an array of tailor-made packages to suit all requirements. So, with the promise of a heatwave on the way and a huge amount of catching up to be done with your gal pals why not book yourself in for some serious pampering.

Not only is the breath-taking garden large enough to easily allow for social distancing, the team stagger arrival times throughout the day as well as tailoring the client’s spa journey to allow for a peaceful and smooth transition. There will be no queuing for a space in the sauna or a sun lounger here. Although the focal point of your day will most likely be the spectacular outside space complete with a heated pool, hot tubs, a fire pit, and seating pods there is also an impressive indoor thermal experience not to be missed. The heated beds in the vitality pool area are a must as are the selection of saunas, salt steam room, and a tepidarium. As well as this there are also three separate relaxation rooms each offering quiet, calm spaces to sit and unwind.

The on-site Elements restaurant allows guests to dine in comfortable, informal surroundings throughout the visit. The menu offers light and healthy meals as well as a fully stocked bar serving the hotel’s sparkling wine, one not to be missed. Outside in the garden, the staff at the Bollinger Bar are on hand to bring drinks directly to your sun lounger or heated seating pod. If you chose to stay the night, the Carden Park Hotel adjacent to the Spa building houses the AA rosette Redmond’s Restaurant with views out over the manicured grounds and award-winning golf course.

Finally, for those looking for a family-friendly hotel resort close to home, the Carden Park Hotel ticks all the boxes. There is a fantastic playground for little ones, a high-ropes assault course, mini quad bikes to hire, tennis courts, a full-sized FA football pitch, mountain bike, and walking trails throughout the estate. This hotel offers something for everyone and has a real resort feel. So, if you are missing that overseas holiday this Summer and you are looking for either a day or weekend away with loved ones then look no further.

The pools, hot tubs, beauty salon, and treatment rooms are all operating as normal, with social distancing and increased safety measures in place. Full use of the indoor thermal experience will commence on the 1st of August when the saunas, steam rooms and tepidarium reopens.
