GIRL ABOUT RUTLAND

Hi, I’m Megan and I’m a born and raised Raddle[wo]man – which is what us Rutland folk like to call ourselves. I grew up in Uppingham and after a few years travelling and trying my hand at city-life, I settled in Oakham where I run a PR agency specialising in rural tourism. I started my career in journalism at the Rutland Times and Rutland and Stamford Mercury. It was there my love for the area grew – I’d always taken it for granted before. I joined the Girl About Blogsquad as Girl About Rutland because it combines two things I’m really passionate about – my home county and rural tourism. I hope you’ll enjoy finding out a bit more about England’s smallest county with me. 11 facts about me (one for luck):
