More about me

Time to check in to one of the most beautiful overnight stays in Cambridge, The Gonville Hotel. Only a short walk from the train station, as well as having it’s own parking, the hotel is perfect for any visitors. It is a great stay for all – couples, families and our four-legged friends, being one of the only dog-friendly hotels in Cambridge. The Hotel also has a wellness spa, offering a variety of treatments plus complimentary cycle hire, which is ideal for exploring the city.

The Hotel has it’s own Fine Dining Restaurant, Cotto, which is perfect for any couples or adult groups, as well as The Atrium bar, offering locally produced gins and an array of mouthwatering cocktails.

However, if you’re looking for something further into the city, then why not try Parkers Tavern. Having opened it’s doors almost 200 years ago the restaurant has undergone many changes, the most recent being it’s renovation from 2016-2018, and is one of the best culinary experiences in Cambridge.

If you fancy some after (or before) dinner drinks, Browns is the place for you, with it’s incredible cocktails, delicious gins, beers and ciders, and great selection of wines.
