RECIPE | Easy Chicken Pie

20th August 2019

Hands down the easiest chicken pie recipe you will ever find, and the whole family loves. Even my babies wolf it down!

Chicken Pie

Four ingredients;

Chicken breasts (I usually use 3 to feed our family of two adults, a toddler and two babies)

Cup of frozen peas

One tin of Campbell’s condensed chicken soup

One roll of puff pastry

Chicken Pie

Steam the chicken in a tinfoil parcel for 25-30mins, until its cooked through.

Chicken Pie

Shred the chicken using a knife and fork then add to a bowl with the juices from the chicken, peas, soup and a little black pepper. Mix.

Chicken Pie

Put the mixture into a dish and lay the pastry on top. Cut a few holes into the pastry and I like to brush a little egg or milk onto the pastry.

In the oven around 190c for 25-30mins until the pastry is golden.

I usually pop a few veggies in the steamer to cook at the same time, and viola, winner winner chicken dinner.

REVIEW | Kelham Island Food Tour in “The Shoreditch of the North” – Sheffield

If you love food and don’t know Sheffield very well then the Kelham Island Food Tour could be the one for you. It’s a great way to spend an afternoon, filled with many tasty delights whilst discovering new places around the much loved industrial part of town. The first time I ventured away from my city-centre haunts was shortly after finishing uni, when we discovered the Fat Cat pub and (more importantly) £2 pints of ale. It dumbfounded us that we’d never even heard of this part of town, so finding such an amazing place to drink after four years living in Sheffield was quite a late discovery!
