I’m a busy working mum of a feisty toddler. I adore motherhood – it has been everything I hoped it would be and so much more. Inevitably though, parenting has somewhat cramped my style and social life in recent years! I have always loved discovering great places to eat, drink and stay.

THE WELLBEING WEEK EDIT
This week for World Wellbeing Week we are focusing on everything wellbeing related. As well as launching our campaign this week to push the power of kindness through the giving and receiving of yellow heart pins, we have all sorts of great content. With Q&As from the blog squad on wellbeing, and guest post articles from experts and professionals, we want to use this week and next week and every week after that to help you improve your wellbeing and remind all that all it takes is a smile.
My mental health has had a good bashing over the years. I’ve suffered with post-natal-depression, panic attacks, addiction, anxiety and a serious lack of self love and self worth. And then of course there’s the meds and the side effects that come with them.
To support the #HaveAHeart campaign I asked the beautiful blog squad ladies some their thoughts on what wellbeing means to them, why they are supporting this campaign, who they are gifting their yellow hearts to and how they look after their own wellbeing.

This whole lifestyle with no patience and everything is available at the click of a button suddenly started to take over my life. That and the constant screen time.
I’m a primary school teacher and I’m a mum to a beautiful, bright and bubbly six-year-old. I witness the ups and downs of wellbeing in children every day. Every parent faces the same dilemma – how to ensure the wellbeing of our children – particularly from a mental health perspective in a world that is more pressured than ever in more ways than one.
