NEW OPENING | Cotswold Co. Harrogate
I was invited to the much-anticipated preview event at Harrogate’s newest furniture store, Cotswold Co. last week. Now, as I have been scouring the internet for over 12 months for both living room and dining room furniture, I saw it as some sort of Divine intervention and turned up, a little too excited!
The showroom, on Station Parade, spreads over two expansive floors, both of which are full to bursting with gorgeous home interiors. From stunning faux flowers, to cushions and throws and from beautifully painted oak sideboards to sofas and dining tables.
The evening was attended by all of Harrogate’s blogging fraternity and we were treated to delicious nibbles and drinks, including a well-stocked Slingsby Gin bar.
The staff members were all incredibly welcoming, enthusiastic and complimentary of not only the gorgeous furniture and accessories, but the company as a whole.
I left with a jute bag full of quality goodies, including a throw (I am beyond thrilled!) and officially the nicest, smelliest candle I have ever owned.
If you’re after any home interiors or furniture, pop along to the new showroom and have a mooch about.
Cotswold Co. is now open on 49-57 Station Parade, Harrogate, HG1 1TT. Standard opening hours are Monday – Saturday, 9am – 6pm and Sundays 11am – 5pm.
If you quote HARROGATE15 you’ll get a 15% discount on all purchases.

When my friend asked me and my family to come along to one of the GRUB food fairs at Fairfield Social Club in Manchester I was a bit apprehensive at first. But now, I can’t wait to go back to the next one. A super cool venue, fantastic food and fun for the kids.
If you live in Halifax you’ve probably driven past Wainhouse Tower and not realised that for a few quid you can pay a visit and climb its spiral staircase. It’s “just” 403 steps to the viewing gallery (great leg workout) and there you can take in the stunning sights over Halifax and beyond.
Flashback to 2008 – Obama‘s been elected president, Britney‘s made one of her many comebacks, Beyoncé and Jay Z have tied the knot and I was merrily going about my life at uni when I was struck down with, what I later came to know as, a “Crohn’s flare up”.
