The Lake District National Park is 2,362km², the largest in England,  and is home to some of the greatest, most beautiful and dramatic scenery there is – in my opinion anyway! There’s limitless things to do here and although one person managed to run all 214 of the Wainwright Fells in 6 days, 6 hours and 5 minutes, it takes most people the best part of a lifetime. There’s plenty to do in-between as well so if walking mountains isn’t your thing there’s still so much to keep you busy.

HI, I’M ALI GIRL ABOUT THE LAKE DISTRICTGirl About The Lake District

I am originally from Norfolk and have lived in a fair few places in the UK for only being in my 20s. I have now settled in Keswick, The Lake District and I couldn’t be happier. I spend my time swimming, climbing, running, hiking, camping and pretty much any other outdoor activity I get the chance to do. I love spending time outdoors and making the most of what my home has to offer! A cold pint and bowl of chips is my favourite ‘gourmet’ treat after a day of adventuring. I never need to walk far or particularly high to get an amazing view in the Lake District and even on a dreary day it still looks amazing! I truly love where I live and know how lucky I am to be here.
